We are searching for a bright, creative candidate for the position of Senior Strategic Designer within our agency. The expectations of the role go beyond that of a typical design position.
They need to be able to think conceptually then articulate these layered ideas in a clear, concise and compelling way.
The requirement is to do this both visually and verbally, mixing mediums to suit the specifics of a brief. Sometimes design-led and sometimes written; exploring film, photography and graphics to communicate ideas with impact. We are looking for a naturally creative person with a practical mind and the confidence to take on a variety of projects outside the realm of most design briefs.
The candidate should have some experience working across FMCG brands, thinking consumer-need rather than client-demand. They should ideally have had some experience within a strategically-minded agency and have a foundational understanding of the role of insight, positioning and storytelling as well as broader marketing best practices.
We want the candidate to be able take a brief and run with it… sometimes as part of a large team, sometimes in a tight unit and sometimes independently, unphased by a constantly shifting landscape of briefs and challenges.
